Our olive trees grow on the southern slopes of the Monte Iblei on more than 20 hectares at several hundred meters above sea level. From there you have a breathtaking view of the baroque city of Noto (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the southern tip of Sicily, where the Ionian Sea and the Strait of Sicily meet and the wind carries salts and minerals into the land.
The mineral-rich limestone soil and the altitude of the olive grove provide ideal conditions for our olive varieties, which have been cultivated here for generations. Farming at these higher altitudes is more laborious and expensive, but the conditions for the trees are all the better, allowing the production of a superior olive oil, rich in antioxidants and with a unique taste.
